Mid-Michigan Surgical Specialists’ Bariatric Clinic is under the medical direction of Chad Ringley, M.D., FACS.  All patients considering surgical weight loss reduction are required as a first step to attend an informational session. (Please call 989-790-3268 to register for the next available session.) At this session you will receive information regarding the Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass, Sleeve Gastrectomy, and Adjustable Gastric Banding, qualifying medical conditions, insurance company requirements for reimbursement, possible contraindications and billing information. At the close of the session you are able to schedule an initial assessment if you choose to proceed. Sessions take place monthly at Covenant HealthCare Mackinaw Campus (lower level) with morning and evening sessions led by Dr. Ringley, Dr. Wohaibi, and their staff.  See the Bariatric Information Session schedule for dates, times, and locations.
